Join current and prospective students for Ascent, Minerva’s admitted students week. This newly imagined virtual experience will give you an authentic sense of life at Minerva, offering a multitude of interactive opportunities to engage with your peers, meet staff and faculty, and take part in activities that show you what your four years at Minerva will look like. Our first Ascent Week will be taking place over the course of January 30—February 6, with events that span the week.

How to Join
In order to fully participate in Ascent, you should plan to join the kick-off and closing events on Saturday, January 30, and Saturday, February 6, respectively. During the week, you will be paired in a small group of other admits, with two current students as your leaders, helping you navigate the rest of the offerings during the week. Creating Your Schedule
You will get to choose your own journey, as you attend classes on Forum, take part in student club gatherings, have meetings and Q&As with the leadership team, and join pop-up experiences. We will be offering events at multiple times and on varying days during the week to account for timezones and school schedules. We want you to be able to attend as many programs as possible during the week, but understand that other aspects of your life might take precedent. We ask that you plan to participate in as many sessions as your schedule allows to make the most of this opportunity and meet your classmates.
We highly encourage family participation during Ascent week. Family members are invited to join Minerva staff and faculty at the kick-off event, and for a reception event on Saturday, January 30. Throughout the week, we will also be hosting “Parent Chats,” where family members are welcome to come and talk with staff, faculty, alumni, and current students—having their questions about Minerva life fully answered. Family programming throughout the week will also include a tour of a residence hall and meetings with members of the academic team, professional development team, and the senior leadership team.
