Ari Betof, Ed.D., 
Chief Advancement Officer

Ari Betof serves as Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for leading Minerva Institute’s fundraising efforts. He has led and contributed to capital campaigns in a number of roles including as a trustee and senior administrator. As Director of Institutional Advancement at George School, Betof oversaw fundraising, alumni relations, marketing, communications, and enrollment management. He has been an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Mid-Career Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership, a senior advisor to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC,) and a judge for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards.

In addition to his work at Minerva, Betof is co-founder and partner at Mission & Data, a consulting firm dedicated to cultivating mission-driven, data-informed decision-making in organizations that make the world a better place. He earned a B.S. in physics and mathematics from the Guilford College honors program and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania focusing on nonprofit organizational stewardship and sustainability. He is an executive MBA candidate at Cornell University where he is an Emerging Markets Institute Fellow.
