Fatou Badiane-Toure is the Managing Director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Minerva, where she leads strategy on student recruitment and partnership building across the continent of Africa. She has been invited to guest speak at the Uganda Mathematical Society’s Mathematics Teachers Conference and has discussed leadership in education on national television in Senegal.
Badiane-Toure previously worked at the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, an institution that develops future leaders of Africa, as the Associate Director of Admissions in Francophone of West and Central Africa. She was also Lead Education Policy and Program Consultant for various U.S. and Africa-based youth and women’s empowerment organizations. Badiane-Toure earned her M.A. in International Development from Teachers College Columbia University, a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and Management from Illinois Institute of Technology, and her BSc in Computer Information Systems from Towson University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
