Mara Steiner is the Global Director for Student Life and the City Director for Buenos Aires. In her role, she is responsible for the development of the high-level strategy, overarching narrative, and cohesion of goals, timelines, and desired outcomes for the Student Life team. In this capacity, she offers solutions, guidance, and assistance to the ground teams across the world since 2016.
Mara has professional and leadership experience in higher education and the NGO field worldwide. She previously served as a representative for major North American NGOs in Latin America and Europe. She is skilled in adapting to and immersing in different cultures and contexts with flexibility and problem-solving skills. Her past experience includes a wide range of educational and social projects, which have enriched her personal and professional life and have fostered her creativity and enthusiasm for professional challenges.
Additionally, since 2008, Mara has taught at the University of Buenos Aires and Palermo University in Argentina. She has a BA in Art History from the University of Buenos Aires, an MA in Education from JTS, New York, and is a Ph.D. candidate in History and Theory of Art at the University of Buenos Aires.
